When a snack attack strikes, refuel with a nutrition-packed snack like one of the following:
- Spread mustard on a flour tortilla. Top with a slice of turkey or ham, low-fat cheese and lettuce.
- Apple Pie Oatmeal: Make one packet of microwave oatmeal with 1% or skim milk. Mix in 1/4 cup of unsweetened applesauce. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
- Parfait: Layer low-fat Greek vanilla yogurt and mandarin oranges or blueberries in a tall glass. Top with a sprinkle of granola.
- Microwave a small baked potato. Top with reduced-fat cheddar cheese, salsa and some of your favorite vegetables.
- Blend low-fat yogurt, frozen strawberries and a banana for 30 seconds for a tasty smoothie. #PHLCMay2021
