COVID-19 has definitely opened our eyes to just how important having a strong immune system can be! Your immune system fights off disease for you. But what can you do for your immune system? From what you eat to how much sleep you get, there are lots of ways to keep your immune system healthy-so that it can help keep you healthy!
Don’t smoke or vape! Never starting or quitting smoking/vaping is one of the best things you can do for your immune system!
Wash your hands!ย Hand washing is proven to help keep you healthy. Wash your hands with hot water and soap for at least 20 seconds. Make sure to wash your hands before eating or making food, and after using the bathroom, coughing, sneezing, or blowing your nose.
Get enough sleep!ย Sleep helps keep your immune system strong. Aim for 8-10 hours of sleep. Try to keep a sleep schedule, by going to bed and waking around the same time each day.
